1. Can I enrol in &Ballet classes if I never danced ballet before?
Of course you can. You can enrol even if you never danced in your life or did any physical exercise.
2. Which workout gear do I need?
Some kind of tighter clothing in order for instructors to be able to see your body movements and socks. You can buy the gear in our studio. More information about the clothing line is available in our web shop.
3. Am I too old?
No! Nobody is too old to do &Ballet. Our oldest student is 72 years old. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be of the same age after our classes – dance rejuvenates your mind and body, so be careful. There is a high risk of feeling younger.
4. Can I enrol in &Ballet classes if I suffer from some injury (knee, foot, neck, thoracic or lumbar spine, shoulder etc.)?
You can, but please consult our staff in order to determine whether you need to strengthen the injured parts of the body with the help of some other programme before starting &Ballet or combine &Ballet with another programme.
5. Is previous knowledge necessary?
Having previous knowledge is not necessary because we have different levels in &Ballet – beginners to advanced. If you never practiced ballet before, we are here to introduce you to it.
6. Are men welcome as well?
Of course. We have fewer male students, but their number keeps growing year after year because &Ballet proved to be extremely beneficial for men because of their reduced flexibility and mobility. We also have athletes among our students – ballet improves their motor skills for the benefit of other physical activities.
